1. Enhanced: download retrieval
Downloads are retrieved in a different way in HawkSoft 6 than they were previously, making for a more seamless and automatic downloads process.
- Downloads are now retrieved through Ivans Web Services
Downloads are now retrieved through Ivans Web Services via API call, instead of the legacy Ivans Download Transfer technology. - Downloads are now retrieved automatically as they occur
Downloads are retrieved continuously 24/7, so agencies will no longer need to manually process downloads on a daily basis. Downloads from carriers that do not go through Ivans (such as Progressive/TeamUP) may still require manual processing, as they did previously. - Proactive error logging & investigation by HawkSoft
The HawkSoft Support team will have a robust back-end system that proactively identifies errors for investigation and resolution without agency involvement.
2. New: Downloads Dashboard
The all-new Downloads Dashboard provides users with a one-stop shop where they can view all important information regarding downloads at a glance, including:
- The current status of the downloads platform
- Action items for the agency, including errors and unmatched items
- The history of downloads in the last 7 days, broken down by both Carrier and Transaction Type.
- Quick links to the full download report, download configuration, and Ivans Exchange website

- Manage Ivans Y-Accounts
All Ivans Y-Accounts are displayed, and accounts can be added or enabled/disabled.
- Apply rules globally or for specific carriers
Downloads can now be enabled or paused for all carriers, or only for specific carriers. Downloads can also now be set to auto-create policies for all carriers, or only specific carriers.

This dashboard shows a summary of unmatched downloads broken out by transaction, Claims/eDocs, and Carrier, as well as a list of all unmatched downloads.
- Updated display for unmatched downloads
Unmatched downloads are now displayed in tile format, with important information on the left (including a link to open the download in a separate window) and recommended matches on the right.

What capabilities are no longer available in HawkSoft 6?
All activities and workflows that were available with the previous downloads capabilities will be available in HawkSoft 6, and there are many new or enhanced features in addition.
How should agencies prepare for this update?
What items will be migrated to HawkSoft 6 automatically (no action needed from agency)?
The agency’s current download settings (Ivans mailbox, rules, and suspenses) will be migrated to HawkSoft 6.
What items will need to be reviewed or reconfigured by the agency after the migration to HawkSoft 6?
The agency will need to review their Ivans mailbox, download rules, and download tasks in HawkSoft 6 to ensure everything is configured correctly and set new options if desired. The migration team will assist agencies with this process to ensure downloads are disabled at the appropriate time in the agency’s previous database and enabled in HawkSoft 6.
